Who are we?

Well, without going into much boring detail, we are friends who have known each other, generally, for about 10 years or more. Most of us go to the same church and are active in various ministries, plus, we just enjoy one another’s company. (Always a plus when going on day trips like this!)

Basically, we are simply people who enjoy wondering, and wandering. It is not at all uncommon for us to think, “Gee, I wonder what’s down this road?” and then find out. After all, when you see a country road called Piano Bridge Road, you simply must find out.

General info about me,the guy putting this site together, currently... well, since 1998, I have been a web designer. Prior to this, I did financial planning for small business owners and executives for 19 years. And way back when the world was young, I worked as a computer programmer.

In my spare time I like to get together with friends,  read, tinker with new computer technologies and, of course, hit the open road now and then.

There have been several ladies who have contributed to this endeavor. Either they have gone with me on these trips or they have shared with me trips they have taken and what they most enjoyed.
